Congratulations Port of Edmonds!

Last week, the Port of Edmonds was re-certified as a Leadership Clean Boatyard. They are the first of our certified boatyards to be re-certified! As a Leadership Clean Boatyard, Port of Edmonds has demonstrated their commitment to keeping Washington waters clean and healthy.

 When meeting with Deputy Director Marla Kempf, Clean Boating Foundation’s Adria Lau was particularly impressed by Marla’s organizational skills and preparedness. She was also impressed by Port of Edmonds innovative storm water filtration system and straightforward BMP’s. Port of Edmonds goes above and beyond in education as well–sponsoring college student’s scuba diving field trips. 

We can’t wait to see what Port of Edmonds will do next!
